Now we' re within the City of London - a bit more far from South Kensington (where the Science Museum is located).

We're looking at St. Pauls Cathedral.

This church how i've heard has a special place in the hearts of the common people. Might be - as Westminster Abbey is the brain of history, so St. Pauls Cathedral is the heart. It was founded in 604 (long before Westminster Abbey) and was more often destroyed - but always rebuilt). The destiny of this church reflects a bit more the destiny of London and its inhabitants ...

The last rebuilding started in 1669 (the "Big Fire" - You remember) and was the Masterpiece of Sir Christopher Wren, who planned and rebuilt London (with a little help from some people more ;-) ) after this unfortune.
The Admiral Lord Nelson, the Duke of Wellington, Sir Winston Churchel and Sir Christopher Wren are buried here.
