I remember my childhood - Sir Francis Drake and his Golden Hind.
He founded the british ruleship on the seas and - more unknown - sailed the earth 1577-1580 as the second person, following Magellhan !
More known he also won the battle against the spanish Armada (good tactics ;-)).

erstes Bild:

Ich erinnere mich an meine Kindheit - Sir Francis Drake und seine "Goldene Hindin".
Er begründete die britische Herrschaft zur See und - eher unbekannt - umsegelte die Erde 1577-1580 als zweiter Mensch nach Magellhan !
Eher bekannt - er gewann auch den Kampf gegen die spanische Armada (gute Taktik ;-)).
